CRAIG MARIN
Founder/Artistic Associate Craig creates and crafts all the Flexitoon puppets. He is a writer, designer, director, composer, cartoonist, ventriloquist, and puppeteer for all productions. Craig fell under the spell of puppets at the age of three. By fourteen, he was apprenticing for Chuck McCann on his WPIX-TV kid’s show and appearing on other local children’s TV programs, including Wonderama and The Sandy Becker Show. In high school, Craig formed the psychedelic Marko Puppet Theatre, which later toured colleges across America, climaxing with a command performance for the Grateful Dead at Jerry Garcia’s birthday party. Craig then founded The Puppeteers, doing children’s shows and commercials throughout New England for five years – leading to an ABC-TV holiday special. Craig also worked with Bil Baird’s Marionettes, where he met Olga Felgemacher.

OLGA FELGEMACHER
Founder/Artistic Associate Olga Felgemacher watched the world-renowned Bil Baird Marionettes on TV as a child and saw her future. After graduating from Northwestern University, Olga arrived in NYC and soon became leading lady at The Bil Baird Marionette Theater. For eight years, she starred in every Baird production on stage and TV, in films and commercials. While at Baird’s, Olga had several shows written expressly for her by musical luminaries like Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof) and Mary Rogers (Once Upon A Mattress). Olga went on to accept a long-standing, personal offer from Jim Henson to work with his Muppets on Sesame Street and The Muppet Movie. Two years later, she co-created Flexitoon. Olga is Craig Marin’s design partner, makes the puppet costumes, and is a visionary puppeteer and voice artist.

Flexitoon Commercial Reel

FLEXITOON creates and performs magical live presentations around the world in venues ranging from theaters, colleges, libraries, elementary schools, hospitals, art festivals, theme parks, cultural centers, Off-Broadway and Lincoln Center. Flexitoon opened the Global Festival of Puppet Arts in Taiwan, and represented America at the International Theatre Festival for Young People in Romania. In 2010 Flexitoon was contracted by the World Wildlife Federation to create a site-specific production for the Bronx Zoo in New York City. "The Dark Part" ran successfully on weekends throughout October, appearing before over 120,000 visitors.

The not-for-profit arm of Flexitoon is the Flexitoon Puppet Theatre (FPT), whose goal is to establish a permanent, professional, repertory puppet theater in New York City. FPT’s Board of Directors is comprised of theatrical and professional luminaries including Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, Sarah Jessica Parker, Tom Schumacher, Megan Mullally, Nick Offerman, and Ron Suskind.
